Hypethetic was asked by Adidas to customize a pair of its shoes for an event called "Adidas 60 Years of Stars and Stripes." The designer used a pair of white/green Adidas Pro Models to get the job done. By looking at the photos below and at Hypethetic's Customsnkr.com blog linked airnk, you would never know that this great design came from such humble beginnings.

These Pro Models were converted into a celebration of Adidas advertisements throughout the years. Hypethetic integrated the images of 60th Adidas models and fans into the shoe including a remarkable melding of the blue tri-stripes with ad images. Since Adidas has spent 60 years building its image, it is appropriate that Hypethetic focused on advertising in celebrating the company's achievements.

My favorite part of the Stars and Stripes Pro Models is the stitched "60 Years" featured on the tongue. Hypethetic stitched "60 Years" but let the blue background step forward in the shape of the Adidas logo inside of the zero. I am sure that these customs were a hit considering Hypethetic's design skills as well as the Adidas 60 Years of Stars and Stripes shoes's appropriate theme for the event.

This is the new Nike Air Trainer III LE. It will be released by Nike Sportswear in early April 2009. The colorway is grey, with black and yellow accents. The toe box and midsection have regular perforations. The mudguard around the toe box is made of exotic leather. The color of this leather is between brown and grey and blends in well.

The Nike Air Trainer III LE shoes lace panel has yellow accents in the Nike labelling at the start and end of the shoe lace region. The grey colored shoe lace is good as it coordinates with the color scheme. The midsection and heel are covered by the black colored frame. The reinforcing structure is also used in the midsole, toe's outsole and heel's outsole. The midsole has splashes of black and yellow on the grey background. A translucent yellow window allows a little peek into the air cushion of the Nike Air Trainer III LE sole.

The inner lining is black and blends with the collar at the ankle. The heel is in solid grey leather. The outsole is designed to show a set of yellow windows on the black frames. The yellow logo of Nike speaks of great pride in the design of the Nike Air Trainer III LE Shoes.

Rare Air started the Air Flight Light Jokers with nothing but a white canvas and a few lime accents. The base shoe was soon converted into a wonderful pair of customs through Rare Air's hard work and dedication. I found these photos at the Rare Air blog on Customsnkr.com linked airnk.com.

The designer used a deep red hue on the Nike swooshes and laces to simulate the color from the hearts and diamonds in a deck of cards. Rare Air shoes faded black into purple along the border spaces from heel to toe without showing us how it was done. The four symbols used on a standard deck of cards were painted in white against the dark border spaces.

The Air Flight Lite Jokers Shoes do not look disjointed even with the unusual mixture of base and custom colors. The lime green on the heel and eyelets may seem out of place among reds, blacks and purples but it seems to blend in just fine. Rare Air showed superior design skills as these Flight Lite Jokers Shoes were turned into something stylish.

This is the latest colorway from the Air Jordan 6 Fusion collection for February. This Air Jordan 6 Fusion Electric Lime is sold at RPS website. One pair costs $160.

Air Fusion 6 Shoes usually does not use two tones for the upper. This shoe is unique because it is one of the two rare editions to use the two tone upper. The toe box is white and has regular perforations. The white mudguard separates the toe box away from the midsection. The mudguard blends with the Nike swoosh and shoe lace. The ankle and heel are conjoined and uses black leather.

The stitching is done in electric lime thread and makes the design look outstanding. The Air Jordan 6 Fusion Electric Lime Shoe strap is prominent because of the lime thread outlines. The heel has a strap with a strip of lime colored border. The inner lining is a comfortable dark color to match with the collar and heel. The midsole is black and thick to continue the stream line design of this Air Jordan 6 Fusion Electric Shoe. I think the overall design and colors are good. This shoe's features give it a distinguishing look.

It's the Nike SB Dunk High Pro - Goofy Boy - Green Denim this time. Have yourself.

Goofy Boy's comeback wasn't complete; until now.  Big Brother Magazine's mid-90s mascot of sorts made his way onto a Low Dunk SB, a Mid and now this hightop.  The Nike SB Dunk High Pro pictured above might be the ‘nicest' of the bunch, topping the Pro-edition lowtop and the Premium Mid with its striking colourway.  Just like the others, GB appears on the insole, while the upper features quite a bit of green denim.  Throw in red suede on the toe, eyelets and tongue and some black accents, and this is arguably the most aesthetically pleasing of the bunch as well.  Dunkbar reports these are available at a few European retailers

Although Kobe Bryant skipped college to head straight to the NBA, he's made comments that if he would have gone to college that Duke would have been his choice. With that in mind, these Duke University Nike Zoom Kobe IV kicks make a lot of sense. Despite not playing for Coach K at Duke, Kobe did get a chance to play with him this summer as he helped the USA bring home the basketball gold medal in the Olympics.

As you would expect with Nike Duke shoes, these kicks have the D logo on the heel and utilize a blue color scheme. Check out both the home and road versions. Overall, these Nike Duke shoes are very slick but don't expect to find a pair. Sole Collector says that "Due to legal complications, don't expect to see these hitting the House Of Hoops anytime soon."

The Nike ACG Tallac Shoes is sold at Concepts. The shoe upper and tongue are covered in black background with white grid lines. The toe box is protected by a black leather sheath that is decorated by perforations and a small, pink Nike swoosh. The curved circumference is protected by a high mudguard.

The boot lace is electric blue with thin pink lines. Down the center of the tongue, there is a black strip of lace locks to ensure tight lacing.

The midsection of the ACG Tallac Shoes is reinforced with black strips of frame. These strips embrace the shoe and maintain the shape and fit. A piank colored Nike ACG Tallac Shoes strap helps to lace down the shoe lace. This strap runs around the collar and down the side of the midsection. The collar of the ankle is in black netted fabric. This ensures comfort and a good fit at the ankle.

The heel has a sky blue back tab and the brand name "ACG" is printed in pink. The heel is the same extension as the netted fabric of the collar of the ankle.

The choice of Air Nike ACG Tallac colors is good. Electric blue and baby pink will pander to the whims of male and female users alike.

The colorway of Nike Zoom Flight Club has been inspired by the San Antonio Spurs colorway. The toe box is black and is a half circle. The seam is marked by 3 lines of machine stitching. The shoe upper is white and uniformly perforated by tiny air holes. The Nike swoosh is shifted to a new place across the middle of the midsection. The swoosh is placed almost horizontal to the line of the toe box. The back of the heel has at least 4 overlapping layers of different colored leathers. This design has been included to blend with the idea of overlaps. The midsole also uses the overlap of layers.

This Nike Zoom Flight Club does not use the lace but has a broad black shoe strap. On the outer surface of the upper, there is a circular logo. The outsole is in black and light grey. The front portion of the outsole has a layer of fine treads.
